July 30 – August 2, 2018

Pre-K to 8th Grade

C’mon Over to Christian Day Camp – Anchor your Life with God & Get Hooked on Jesus: the fishing of boys and girls (YOU) starts on Monday, July 30th through Thursday, Aug 2nd from 9am-2pm. Please note – our day camp runs Monday through Thursday – no camp on Friday.

Lutheran Church of the Cross is pleased to provide an exciting Day Camp program within our community.  Experience the fun and fellowship that Summer Camp can provide – right in your own back yard!

Come and experience stories from the Bible to help you catch the spirit of God and Jesus using games, crafts, music and much more. Be fishers of men, learn how Jonah beat the whale and how being shipwrecked can make your life better.   With God to anchor your life and getting hooked on Jesus, you will develop spiritual, emotional and physical goals to achieve success in all you do!

Kindergarten — 8th grade campers need a sack lunch & drink from home   Snacks are provided

Who Will Lead It? Dedicated volunteers from Lutheran Church of the Cross and our Youth Group. Our leaders are trained and equipped in Bible study, worship, recreation, and working with people both young and old.

What Happens At Day Camp? Day Camp activities include Bible Study, worship, arts and crafts, singing, and fellowship. Campers will participate in games for fun and recreation where everybody plays, learns, and make new friends along the way!

Who Can Come? Any youth ages 3/preschool to 8th grade can sign up.  (Grades refer to grade entering in the fall.)  You do not have to be a member of a congregation to attend.  Day Camp is open to everyone!

Just for Middle Schoolers…  Is Summer a bummer?  Not here! Middle schoolers (entering grade 6th to 8th) have a dynamic program which includes off-site visits to various places in Evergreen. The group will go hiking, experience music, do crafts and  a few other adventures are prepared for you!  Some adventures may be off-site – additional permission slips will be used.
